Vampire Crawlers is even cheaper if you already own Vampire Survivors, thanks to a launch day bundle
Vampire Crawlers, a game made by Vampire Survivors creator Luca “poncle” Galante, finally launched on Steam yesterday, and it has been doing well so far. Early reviews are positive, and players are loving the spin-off card game roguelite. And the good news is that if you already own Vampire Survivors, there’s a small but welcome discount waiting for you.
New games usually launch at full price and don’t really budge for a while. Discounts typically show up months later (maybe during the next big Steam Sale). However, while Vampire Crawlers normally costs $9.99, you can score it for $8.99 if you already have Vampire Survivors in your library. It’s not a huge drop, but it’s still a nice bonus for fans of the original game.
Vampire Crawlers discount available from launch day
If you don’t own either title, there’s another option. Steam is currently offering a bundle that includes both Vampire Survivors and Vampire Crawlers. Together, they usually cost $13.48, but with the bundle discount, you can get both for $12.13.

As for what Vampire Crawlers offers, it takes the core idea of Vampire Survivors and changes things up in a big way. Instead of the usual gameplay, this one focuses on a deckbuilding system (hence the connection to STS2). You can build powerful card combos, with each move boosting the next. This can lead to some crazy chain reactions if you plan things correctly.
The game also lets you explore dungeons filled with loot, power-ups, and different interactions. You can find upgrades, evolve weapons, and even trigger massive combo effects that can quickly take over the screen. There’s a mix of strategy and fast-paced action, so you can either take your time or play quickly for maximum chaos.
Another great part about the game is that it’s Steam Deck Verified, which means it should run smoothly on the handheld right out of the box without an issue. Considering just how popular Vampire Survivors was on the Steam Deck, we expect a positive response for Crawlers too – the game is already in the top 15 on Steam Deck Top Played charts.
