With the 5800X3D rereleasing, not long after the 9950X3D2, it is, in fact, covering all of its markets with new processors.
The new processor will be the 6th X3D processor in the generation, filling that gap of more cores but clocked down. The others are the 7500X3D, 7600X3D, 7800X3D, 7900X3D, and 7950X3D. Plus, giving a choice of more upgrade options if you’re already on the lower AM5 side of things and want an X3D CPU.
