RTX 5080 makes it more than just a gaming PC
The RTX 5080 paired with the 9800X3D puts the cherry on top, as this combination delivers dominating performance across the board. Gaming at any resolution will be a breeze, but when it comes to resource-intensive workflows like 3D rendering, encryption, data compression, AI, and more, this GPU is more than up for the challenge, as it showcased outstanding performance when we tested it. We put the RTX 5080 FE, ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5080 OC, and the ASUS RTX 5080 Noctua OC Edition through their paces, so be sure to check them out for a complete picture.
B850 drives the 9800X3D to perform its best, combined with 32GB DDR5 RAM
A strong processor needs a reliable motherboard that’ll help get the best performance out of it. This job is handled by the B850 at the foundation of this PC, and is perfect for the 9800X3D, as this chipset should ensure a strong and stable output to the 9800X3D. However, the overclocking potential might not be the best; something to keep in mind. To boost the overall efficiency of this build, the 32GB DDR5 RAM is wonderful as it’ll allow you to open various instances in parallel without compromising performance.
