Amazon’s big sales event is now live. Prime Day has brought plenty of savings to a variety of products, including some tech. So, with plenty of prices being all over the place, like with RAM and SSDs going up, it could be a time to try and save some money on your hardware.
With that in mind, there are some tempting graphics card deals out there right now for your consideration. With many GPU reviews under my belt, I can recommend some of the top options out there that fit the best picks. These top deals consist of the RTX 5080, RTX 5060 Ti 16GB, and RX 9070 XT. Some NVIDIA and AMD cards have the VRAM and power across a range of capabilities.
Best Prime Day GPU deals
The specific models for those on sale are the PNY Slim RTX 5080, ASUS DUAL RTX 5060 Ti, and Gigabyte Gaming OC RX 9070 XT. Those come with slim discounts of just 7%, 5%, and 8%, respectively, but do give them all decent price drops compared to their previous high points.

The GPU performance you can expect
I have, in fact, reviewed all of these GPU tiers; although not the exact same card models, these benchmarks can give you an idea of what you can expect from these cards on sale. Since they carry the same processor and VRAM, you can expect a similar level of performance, with a variation here and there, but this should give you an idea of what they can do.
RTX 5080
One of the more powerful cards in the Blackwell lineup, I have tested three different models for the RTX 5080. There is the Founder’s Edition, the ASUS Noctua Edition, and the ROG Astral. Giving us a great look at its power, the 5080 is a strong 4K GPU, just a bit more affordable, and has a lower VRAM count than the flagship, which makes it a good consideration.

RTX 5060 Ti
Stepping it down a bit to card pushing 1440p gaming more than anything, but it’s certainly great for fast 1080p too. The RTX 5060 Ti 16GB version comes with a lot of video memory onboard that makes it a lot more appealing than the 8GB version. Plus, you can see its performance below from my ASUS Prime OC review.

RX 9070 XT
Now, when it comes to AMD’s Radeon offerings, the flagship RX 9070 XT is a top choice in the field. Capable of 4K, but also rather strong at 1440p, it was a great value option on release. Is Prime Day a good time for GPU deals?
Prime Day has brought a great deal of hardware down in price. Checking price tracking sites such as CamelCamelCamel has shown there are, in fact, savings available for a range of products. Even if it is minimal, it has brought out some of the best prices in months, so it could be the best opportunity to do so.
With such a volatile market, it can be hard to know what will happen next, but Prime Day is certainly one of the times when prices are better. If it’s not PC hardware, we have seen great deals on OLED TVs and monitors that are a lot more impressive.
