If eight RTX 5090s in a GPU server is €50,000, we don’t want to know how much a single one costs

The highly anticipated release of the RTX 5090, Nvidia’s upcoming flagship graphics card, is expected to happen in early 2025. In fact, Nvidia has already penciled in a date for its CES 2025 keynote, where the 50 series will likely be announced. While we do have a little while to wait before that takes place, we’ve been getting to know how the series is shaping up via leaks and rumors.
Key details such as specifications have already leaked online, at least for the 5090 and 5080, but one thing that seems to be alluding to everyone is the price. Nvidia has yet to make anything official, and the pricing is probably one of the last things we’ll get to learn.
Comino is taking pre-orders for its Grando GPU server
Over on Comino, a retailer that sells hardware including gaming PCs, workstations, and servers, you’ll find the Grando Server with 8x NVIDIA GPUs. This beast of a server reportedly features eight RTX 5090s, an AMD EPYC 32-core CPU, 256GB of RAM, and 1TB NVMe storage. It is unusual for a listing like this so early, especially given the fact Nvidia hasn’t officially introduced the RTX 50 series yet.

While you cannot pre-order it in one click, you may request further details about the device. Well, German outlet Hardwareluxx did just that and got to learn more about it than they expected. According to the site, a high number of pre-orders means that Comino suggests placing down a deposit. They detail that the machine with eight RTX 5090s will cost around 50,000 euros, whereas one with six 5090s will cost around €40,000 – a deposit “should be at least 10,000 euros.”
Previous rumors for the RTX 5090 would place the price tag as high as $2,499 – though some known leakers have shot this down. In any case, no one seems to know for sure, but if we were to base it on the Comino GPU server pricing, you’re looking at around €5,000 each – assuming the other components make up the other €10,000.

Of course, this is very speculative and we don’t actually expect Nvidia to be selling 5090s at this price. Companies such as Comino will drive up the price as part of the pre-built system, so it is not reflective of what each individual card will be retailed at. Nvidia seems to be keeping the MSRP a secret; we’d speculate around the $2,000 mark if we were to estimate based on current rumors.
