Now officially launched, new Intel Z890 motherboards feature the LGA 1851 socket for the newer processors. In fact, a few weeks ago, it was rumored that the next-gen motherboards would go live along with the Arrow Lake CPUs.

And it looks like the speculations were credible. Intel did end up announcing the Intel Core Ultra 200S processors along with the Z890 motherboards. Major manufacturers like Asus, ASRock, Gigabyte, and MSI have listed their lineups for the new chipsets.

In September, we reported that MSI had filed 16 motherboards with the EEC, which included AMD X870 and X870E motherboards as well as Intel's Z890 chipsets. Back then, we didn't have the full picture, but now we do.

At the moment, these are all the motherboards that have been listed, and we expect many more to come. As mentioned, these motherboards are available for pre-order. However, you will likely receive them around the time Arrow Lake processors are released, which is set to be October 24th.
