As you may know, 2025 plays host to the next generation of gaming GPUs. We’ve already seen Intel launch its Battlemage cards headed by the Intel Arc B580, then we saw Nvidia launch the RTX 50 series, and finally, we have AMD releasing new cards in early March, with a reveal taking place on February 28th.

However, new GPUs aren’t much good if you can’t get your hands on one. That’s what Nvidia has been experiencing so far, with RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 stock levels suffering. On top of that, the discontinuation of many 40 series cards has left many gamers with only one option – opt for a rival brand. And as seen on Amazon, AMD’s partners have taken full advantage.

AMD Radeon graphics cards are starting to flood Amazon’s best-seller list

Over on Amazon US, we can take a closer look at the GPU market simply by browsing through the ‘Best Sellers in Computer Graphics Cards’ list. Right now, AMD’s flagship RX 7900 XTX is on top, de-throning the RTX 3060, which has long been a fan favorite despite being two generations old now. In fact, the 30 series card is currently still the most popular on Steam.

AMD occupies a significant part of the best sellers right now, and the RTX 50 series is understandably vacant (apart from a stray RTX 5080 that is no longer in stock). Usually, we tend to see Nvidia dominating the sales, especially considering AMD hasn’t even released its new GPUs yet. As for Nvidia, the only 40 series cards you’ll find in the list are the 4060 and 4060 Ti, as the SKUs higher up in the hierarchy have already reportedly been discontinued, but with not enough 50 series stock to replace them.

As we say, AMD is yet to launch its new Radeon GPUs, but the RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT are coming in early March. If stock is plentiful, Team Red could be onto a real winner this generation – helping it claw back some much-needed GPU market share after dropping down to just 10% late last year.
