Install Question
Hi there, how ya'll doing.
I'm trying to install Real One Rhapsody player on this Knoppix CD I'm running. I can see the setup file and click on it but it brings up the "open with" program. What am I to do?

You cannot install windows based programs on linux ...easily.
"Easily", bcoz first of all windows based prgs were obviously designed to run on windows and not on linux. But there is a software called WINE thats prepackaged in the knoppix cd, which lets one install windows prgs on linux. But i dont think its gonna work. It has never worked for me till date.
So, you need to find a LINUX VERSION of Real One Rhapsody player.

OK, I see it in the start menu. Not yet sure what to do with it.

Leave it. and if you are a bit adventorous, fiddle with it ... and then leave it.

OK, I fiddled with it. WINE tried to load but it didn't really work. I'm going to bed (4:09am here and 1:50pm there in New Delhi), you have a great day rahulkothari.
