i'm using intel 865gbf motherboard and 2.8c processor(the one with hyperthreading) 512 mb ram..
so i have onboard graphics and sound cards..
i tried installing the sound card drivers from the cd provided by intel on win98se but although it installs properly, i dont get any sound and end up totally confused where to find errors because win tells me everything's fine. i installed the patches for win98se provided by intel to no effect. but i could install the driver on winxp easily. can anybody help?

i have both installed on my comp. but i'm having trouble with win98se. the drivers work fine on xp.

so from www.driversguide.com download drivers for win98se.
