Alienware is well known for its powerful and eye-catching products, and it’s not hard to see why its gaming laptops are amongst the best on the market today. For better or for worse, however, Alienware is usually associated with fairly hefty price tags – justifiably so considering the components you tend to find in its gaming laptops.
Alienware have different types of gaming laptops, and chop and change its offering from time to time. Right now the three in the spotlight are the m16 R2, the m18 R2, and the X16 R2. The m16 R2 gives you a lot of bang for your buck and keeps things compact. The m18 is a an excellent desktop replacement and great for high-performance. And the x16 is the most premium offering.
These are some of the most expensive gaming laptops we come across, but they do see pretty decent discounts both on Black Friday and the build up to the day itself. At the time of writing, I’ve spotted some offers on the m16 R2 and m18 R2 which knock off a few hundred dollars. And there are some excellent deals running on Alienware directly as part of its ‘Early Holiday Deals’ promo, that I’d say are even a little better than Amazon this time around. The deals aren’t labelled early Black Friday, but I’d still count them!
Here we’ll share all the best deals as they come in as we’re expecting to see some of the best Alienware gaming laptops enter the sales this year. Plus we’ve also got some tips on how you can make the most of Black Friday too.

Black Friday sales kick off on the 29th November this year, so we’ll see themed deals on the day itself. However, there are also early Black Friday sales that happen across retailers which knock down the price of specific Alienware laptops. You can find these on Amazon around two weeks before the day itself, but we’re already starting to see deals roll in that are Black Friday worthy.
As for going direct to the site, Alienware have ‘Early Holiday Savings’ at the moment, which we’d imagine would turn into Black Friday, then Cyber Monday. Now could be a great chance to beat the rush if you have your eye on something.
How to get the best Alienware gaming laptop deal this Black Friday
I’d say really weigh up the offering between Amazon, Best Buy, Newegg, and other major retailers against Alienware directly. Sometimes you’ll find that cutting out the middle man means saving extra – so a double win during Black Friday.
If you’re shopping on Amazon, we’d recommend using a price comparison tool to ensure the deal is as good as it looks. Spoiler alert, some aren’t! Check the pricing history and use that intel to your advantage.
Finally, for the biggest savings, lean more towards older GPUs and CPUs. Laptops with an RTX 30 series or Intel 13th Gen CPU are still great even today, but relatively old when compared o the likes of the 40-series or latest Intel CPUs…lacklustre as they are.
Be sure to check back in with us soon as we countdown to Black Friday, and happy hunting!
