Steam Black Friday deals 2025 – the latest offers this holiday season
Table of Contents
Black Friday itself is just a few days away, landing on November 28th this year, and we expect to see some unofficial Black Friday Steam deals popping up as we get closer to the big day. Valve doesn’t actually run a Steam Black Friday sale per se, but it does typically have some great offers to pick up that ‘coincidentally’ run around the same time – making it the perfect opportunity to pick up some choice titles for holiday gifts for yourself or others. As the most popular gaming storefront, we imagine people will be flocking to pick up new titles as the season gets underway.
Below, we’ll be listing all the best offers, between now and Cyber Monday (which lands on December 1st this year), covering the whole gamut of genres, from indie to AAA titles.
Here at PC Guide we’ll also be bringing you all the best deals from the web’s biggest online stores on the full range of hardware to run your games on, from prebuilt gaming PC deals, to Black Friday monitor deals, and offers on other hardware besides (GPUs, CPUs, SSDs, and RAM) – so do also check these pages out if you’re putting together a new gaming rig.
Will Steam be hosting a Black Friday sale this year?
Officially, it doesn’t look like Steam will host a Black Friday event this year. That being said, that doesn’t mean we won’t be able to find epic deals on some of this year’s biggest titles. Last year, we saw 90% off the likes of Borderlands 3, Warhammer: Vermintide 2, Monster Hunter: World, and GTA V – to name but a few.

How do Black Friday deals compare to other Steam sale events
While Steam doesn’t officially host a Black Friday sales week, you can still find plenty of deals on big game titles. But are those price cuts as enticing as an official Steam sale? Short answer, probably not.
Steam’s Autumn sale drew to a close recently, where the online storefront offered hundreds of deals on games of all genres. The next major event will be the Steam winter sale – which is due to go live on the 18th of December. With so much time between the Autumn and Winter events, there’s a strong chance Steam will be offering some good deals on AAA games around the Black Friday weekend.
Should I wait till Black Friday to buy Steam games?
One of the big talking points right now is whether or not Steam users should wait till Black Friday to buy Steam games. The short answer is, if you can wait, then yes.
While Steam won’t be hosting an official Black Friday event, it will have deals on a tonne of games between now and the end of the year, many of which will undoubtedly be on gamers’ wishlists. Obviously, there are no guarantees, as there isn’t an official sale planned just yet. That said, it’s probably worth waiting till November 29th, as plenty of this year’s best titles will likely be on sale.
