High core/thread count: The 14900K comes packed with 24 cores in total, which are further divided into 8 Performance cores and 16 Efficient cores. The Efficient cores are mainly used for light tasks that don’t require a lot of processing power, while the Performance cores get activated during demanding tasks, such as animation, video editing, and gaming. Aside from that, the CPU also offers 32 threads, making it excellent for multitasking.
High clock speeds: The 14900K offers a base frequency speed of 2.4 GHz, while the Performance cores operate at 3.2 GHz. However, under load, these cores can reach a max speed of 5.6 GHz, while the CPU overall has a max turbo frequency of 6 GHz, which is pretty impressive.
Built-in graphics: The CPU also comes equipped with Intel UHD Graphics 770 graphics, meaning you can use your system without getting a dedicated GPU. The built-in graphics are more than fine for normal tasks, such as creating documents, browsing the web, and other similar tasks.
