Nvidia’s RTX 4090 is the current best graphics card for gaming out there. It offers 24 GB of VRAM and can handle 4K gaming smoothly. However, being a powerful card, it also comes with a massive price tag. These days, you can expect to spend anywhere between $2,300 and $3,000 for a brand-new one.

But what if we told you that you can get one for free? Sounds too good to be true, right? Well, Nvidia has partnered up with GSC Game World (Stalker 2’s developers) to make it happen, as you can get the flagship GPU as a part of a new giveaway. Considering even the RTX 4090 isn’t enough to max out the game at native 4K 60 FPS, it goes without saying that a high-end GPU is recommended for Stalker 2.

Nvidia’s Stalker 2 RTX 4090 giveaway and how to participate

GSC Game World released Stalker 2 on November 20th, calling the long-awaited launch “utterly surreal.” Even though the game had several issues at launch, the developers have still managed to sell more than 1.4 million copies on Steam in less than 10 days. To celebrate the success of the game, they have partnered up with Nvidia and are offering an RTX 4090 GPU for free through a giveaway.

Unfortunately, there’s only one RTX 4090 up for grabs. However, this isn’t a standard card, as it’s a one-of-a-kind Stalker 2-themed RTX 4090. It comes with a custom backplate featuring the Stalker 2 logo and artwork, making it perfect for fans of the survival horror series. Participating in the giveaway is also a pretty simple process. All you have to do is like Nvidia’s giveaway post on their X account and comment #RTXOn.

Nvidia also mentions that the giveaway will conclude on December 3 at 5 PM PST. No entries will be accepted after that. On top of that, they will announce the winners via email or private message within 24 hours after the draw. The person will have two days to get back to Nvidia, as the prize will be given to an alternate winner otherwise.

In any case, it’s great to see that such a powerful GPU is being given away for free through a giveaway. We reviewed the RTX 4090 and found it to be a top-tier card for 4K gaming, so it really is one of the best GPUs for Stalker 2.
