Amazon has kicked off its early Black Friday deals, and you have all the way till Cyber Monday to hunt for the best RTX 4090 deal. The RTX 4090 is arguably the best GPU on the market today. It’s the go-to for anyone looking for top-tier gaming performance. It’s also a brilliant card for designers working on incredibly heavy-duty tasks such as 3D rendering.
That said, the RTX 4090 is priced very high. Sure, with the RTX 5090 looming, we may see it drop in price slightly, but it’s still a hefty investment, and discounts can be hard to come by—making Black Friday your best bet of the year in many ways. That said, we still aren’t expecting to see massive discounts as it is a flagship GPU, and the most discount we saw during our sweep for deals was on the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 WINDFORCE V2, with 11% off, dropping its price from $2,539.95 to $2,249.99.
However, its high price tag is justified when we look at its performance. We reviewed the ASUS ROG Strix RTX 4090 OC, and natively, it managed to churn out 74 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 at 4K ultra settings, and with Ray Tracing and DLSS enabled, it shot up to 133 FPS, which is nothing short of amazing. So, even if the RTX 5090 will be more powerful than the RTX 4090, it won’t take anything away from its performance, and you shouldn’t feel the need to upgrade to a new GPU any time soon.
Aside from the Gigabyte RTX 4090 deal that we found, there don’t seem to be any Black Friday deals available on Amazon for a standalone RTX 4090, but there is a pre-built gaming PC available if you’re interested. The Corsair ONE i500 PC features a 14900K paired with an RTX 4090, which is a solid combination. It is 15% off, dropping it down from $4,699.99 to $3,994.99.
Besides that, you can check out Amazon renewed for some savings. They won’t be Black Friday deals but you should be able to get an RTX 4090 for less. That said, Micro Center also has the Dell Alienware R16 on sale, offering $200 off, and it features the 14900KF, which is the same as the 14900K, just without the integrated graphics, which you most likely won’t need.

However, there is a good chance that what we’re seeing as the final discounts might see the prices drop slightly for Cyber Monday, but I won’t recommend waiting for that. So, if you see a good deal available, we recommend you grab it because even if you pay a little more, it would be a good premium to avoid the Black Friday rush.

Where to find the best RTX 4090 Black Friday deals?
RTX 4000 series cards can be purchased at most of the main tech-focused stores, including Best Buy, Newegg, Amazon, and even the firm’s own online store. Check out our list below for the top destinations to begin your search.
RTX 4090 Black Friday sales shortlist:
Each retailer has some different advantages in our eyes, depending on what else you’re looking for alongside your RTX 4090 card. Personally, I think Newegg is a great place to look for discounted bundles, as is Microcenter. These bundles are better, in my view, for purchasing motherboards, CPUs and RAM – but you may get lucky and see an RTX 4090 bundle that helps you save some cash.
Amazon is always good, and very familiar for most people. Because of that we do tend to see some stock issues from time to time, and we’d expect things to get very competitive the second an epic deal goes live.
It’s also worth keeping in mind that ‘non-Amazon’ retailers are likely are going to working hard to compete. Expect some ‘counter-deals’ to rear their heads – especially on Newegg.
When will RTX 4090 Black Friday sales start in 2024?
This year Black Friday officially kicks off on 29th November, but that doesn’t mean you won’t see deals going live before the day itself. Every year we see retailers seemingly setting deals live earlier and earlier. Many of these we labelled as ‘early Black Friday’ deals, but now some places just go with ‘Black Friday’ altogether.
Either way, November is the month where you’ll get Black Friday type deals coming in, and while certain products may not be discounted as much as on the day, the discounts will still be very impressive in the build up.
It’s up to you whether to pull the trigger now, or wait. In my view – if you spot a good RTX 4090 deal, I’d say jump on it regardless of whether it’s Black Friday or not..
How to get the best Black Friday RTX 4090 deals in 2024
You will notice on most sites, including Best Buy and even Nvidia’s own store, a “Notify Me” button, which will send you alerts immediately upon the card’s debut. Retailers will also have similar newsletters for Black Friday sales when they go live. This page will also be updated regularly as brand-new holiday season deals roll in.
Features to consider when looking for a Black Friday RTX 4090 deal
Not every RTX 4090 card will be the same. Do you want a Founders Edition, one that is all Nvidia, or something a bit beefier, a bit more RGB? Third-party manufacturers, including MSI, Asus, Gigabyte, Zotac, and more will all be offering their own forms to the 4090 name, making your decision that much more important when deciding the look and feel of your PC.
