With the RX 9060 XT just days away, we expect to see reviews for the card popping up showcasing what it is capable of. Even before that, leaks are highly likely, and now we’ve seen the extent of AMD’s graphics cards thanks to performance graphs coming out ahead of the embargo.

One Redditor caught such a leak from the eTeknix YouTube channel, which must have mistakenly made the video public live before the embargo. Even after it’s been taken down, it was too late as plenty of keen eyes and viewers managed to grab screenshots of the graphs.

From that, we can see the 9060 XT on a similar performance level to the RX 7700 XT, and outperforming it at 1080p. It’s at 1440p and higher resolutions where it might be the memory bus and bandwidth that let down the 16GB of capacity, as it slowly falls behind.

RX 9060 XT 16GB vs RTX 5060 Ti 16GB leaked performance

More importantly, it compares the card to the RTX 5060 Ti, which both have up to 16GB of capacity and are equal in memory. In these benchmarks with 10 games, the 9060 XT turns out 3.6% slower at 1080p, 5.6% slower at 1440p, and 10.1% slower at 4K. Even if it has higher 1% lows, it doesn’t bode well for the AMD GPU. This follows some other early benchmarks we saw just a few days ago.

The one thing going for the 9060 XT is the price. Promising an MSRP of $349 versus the 5060 Ti’s $429 (for the 16GB models) gives it quite the advantage. $80 is a significant amount in the budget graphics cards bracket, amounting to 20% lower pricing. But we’ll have to wait until its release to find out how much it will actually sell for. Early retailer listings have given us a rough idea, at the very least, so we expect between $360 and $400 for the 16GB model.

Just looking at Newegg, the cheapest available 5060 Ti 16GB is up for $469, $40 above MSRP. So all AMD has to do is have enough stock and the ability to promise it at MSRP to easily win the lower tier choice if the performance stays as the leaks suggest, as already polls suggest the 9060 XT is more hyped than the RTX 5060.
