New leaks surrounding the upcoming release of the RTX 50 Series have suggested the upcoming Nvidia GPUs will mark a significant step up in performance over their previous generation. This means we’re probably going to be getting some of the best graphics cards we’ve ever seen hit the market next year.

For many fans of Nvidia, the RTX 5090 is the most exciting new arrival on the horizon, but that could all be about to change – enter the Nvidia TITAN AI GPU. As with previous TITAN models, this will be a beefed-up version of the 50 Series GPUs, built on the same new Blackwell architecture but with souped-up specs (and a heftier price tag).

Perhaps more important for most people, is the fact that new models could well mean we see older GPUs drop in price making them more accessible – but only time will tell on that front.

Rumoured Nvidia TITAN AI GPU specs

Obviously, there’s a certain amount of speculation involved in trying to work out what the specs of the 50 Series are going to be and even if leaked info is correct at the moment, things could still change between now and the eventual release of these GPUs. That being said, there are several rumours going around right now about the potential specs of the Nvidia TITAN AI GPU.

Panzerlied, a user on Chiphell, recently alleged that the RTX 5090 will feature a 448-bit memory bus notably smaller than Nvidia's GB202 silicon – which reportedly boasts a 512-bit memory bus. This could mean that the TITAN AI will also feature a wider 512-bit bus

The RTX 5090 is also reported to feature 28GB of GDDR7 memory. VRAM could well be another area in which the TITAN AI outshines the 5090, 32GB of GDDR7 perhaps?

Another absolutely key feature of the new 50 Series is that Nvidia has built them with their new Blackwell architecture. This successor to the previous Ada Lovelace architecture reportedly offers significant performance improvements including a big leap in ray tracing capabilities.

RedGamingTech recently released a video discussing the potential specs of the RTX 50 Series, citing leakers and inside sources and further speculating on the specs of the 50 Series.

RedGamingTech obveously has his inside sources.

When will the Nvidia TITAN AI GPU be released?

In a recent tweet, the leaker @kopite7kimi recently stated “I think we won’t see RTX 50 until CES.” suggesting we’re unlikely to get an official glimpse of the 50 Series until the start of 2025. If this is true then we’re very unlikely to get any details of the TITAN AI before that and we may even have to wait longer to find out what this rumoured grapgical bohemoth is bringing to the table.
