Black Friday is one of the best times to pick up a CPU for less, especially if that CPU is just that little bit older this year. Case in point: the Intel Core i9-14900K, which was released last October, could be in line for a decent discount in this year’s Black Friday sales. We’re already seeing plenty of discounts on 14900K gaming PCs and the CPU itself on Amazon and Best Buy, respectively.

We spotted the Corsair ONE i500 on sale with a 15% discount. It features the 14900K paired with the RTX 4090, which we’ve also reviewed. Besides that, this Dell XPS 8960 has its price cut by 18%, dropping it down from $2,449.99 to $1,999.99. That said, we didn’t spot the i9-14900K on sale at Amazon, but Best Buy has it with $60 shaved off, bringing it down to $439.99.

We’re also seeing more 14900K gaming PCs on sale, which would save you the hassle of hunting for other components. However, if you’re set on the 14900K, Micro Center has it with a $419.99 price tag, the lowest we’ve seen among all the retailers.

We reviewed the i9-14900K and gave it a solid 4 stars. In fact, considering the relatively minimal improvements of the Intel Ultra 9 285K, we’d say that the i9-14900K is still one of the Intel’s best CPUs for gaming on the market for most people.

This Black Friday, we’d expect to see it drop in price due to its age, but also potentially in response to the massive hype surrounding the Ryzen 7 9800X3D. We’re certainly on high-alert, and will be sharing all the deals we can find in the build up to Black Friday right here.

Where to find the best Intel 14900K Black Friday deals?

The best places to find deals on this CPU will be the big name retailers first and foremost. Amazon is great for single CPU deals, but also offers some bundles. Microcenter and Newegg are excellent for bundles that include motherboards and RAM, and we’d highly recommend checking out their sales. Best Buy is good, but not quite as popular as Amazon for most people. You can still find some solid discounts there.

When will Intel 14900K Black Friday sales start in 2025?

The sales kick off on 29th November this year, however, we’ll likely see deals roll in around two weeks before. CPUs are often discounted through the year, so you’ll be able to find them right now. They may drop even further come the 29th, but we wouldn’t think by too much more.
