Netgear is arguably one of the best brands for routers on the market, and we’ve certainly been impressed whenever we’ve reviewed its products. It offers a wide range of different solutions for different needs and requirements, with two particular ranges standing out from the rest – Orbi and Nighthawk.
Netgear Orbi is its premium mesh offering, that’s ideal for larger homes and spaces. It typically tips the scales when it comes to price, but it’s well worth it if you the very best connection possible. Netgear Nighthawk are made with top-end performance in mind. You’ll find options that provide excellent connectivity, including punchy solutions for gaming and traveling too.
Black Friday is one of the best times to buy Netgear products for less, and we tend to see impressive discounts both building up to and the day-of itself. The good news is that we’re expecting to see some of the best Netgear routers enter the sales this year too.
As far as what’s going on right now, my latest sweep has uncovered some Holiday Deals on the Netgear site. These deals aren’t bad at all, and save you between $100 – $300 on routers, plus a Meural Digital Canvas Bundle. Over on Amazon, asides from the Orbi 770 Series Tri-Band WiFi 7 Mesh System, which is down $200 at the time of writing, deals are fairly flat right now. I’d say you’re best off waiting till November 21st when Black Friday week kicks off for bigger and better reductions.

Netgear deals are already live at the time of writing, however they are not labelled with Black Friday branding just yet. Typically speaking, we tend to see Black Friday deals (or early Black Friday deals) start popping up around two weeks before the event itself. I’ve been covering Black Friday for years now, and it does seem that retailers are shifting their offers earlier and earlier each year however.
In short, they officially go live on the 29th November, but you could score some good early deals before then.
How to get the best Netgear deal this Black Friday?
Of course, you’ll want to compare prices between different retailers. Going direct to Netgear is also not a bad shout, as there may be some unique offers there that make it worth your while.
