However, getting your hands on a laptop with severely outdated hardware is possible but not recommended just to run Roblox. We recommend opting for a modern laptop capable of running this platform, other professional software, and demanding games.

We know that Roblox is a notoriously easy game to run, and investing in a high-end laptop wouldn’t be recommended unless you’re also playing other games. That being said, we recommend the Acer Predator Triton Neo 16 as it has humble specifications that might struggle with demanding titles but should make quick work of Roblox.
In our Acer Predator Triton Neo 16 review, we tested it in a handful of scenarios, one of which was running Cyberpunk 2077 at ultra settings with DLSS auto and Frame Generation enabled, and we got 70 FPS. This is a very decent output, considering this laptop has an RTX 4060, which honestly won’t be at the level of its desktop counterpart.
Besides that, at the center of it all is the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H, which is a 16-core processor with 22 threads and a maximum TDP of 115W. So, you should get excellent single- and multi-core performance and efficiency from this CPU. In addition, since the 4060 is good at 1080p and 1440p, the processor should be able to keep up with it without causing a bottleneck.
The Acer Predator Triton Neo 16 is a strong-budget studio laptop. Although it might not boast the top-end hardware, it still has decent-enough features to make up for it.

That being said, it has a 16″ LCD with a 2560 x 1600 resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. The 2560 x 1600 resolution is 1440p with a 16:10 aspect ratio, which makes the screen look more spacious, resulting in a better working and gaming experience. It also features a 2TB M.2 NVMe SSD with 16GB LPDDR5X memory, which is soldered on, meaning you can’t upgrade it.
The Acer Predator Triton Neo also has WiFi 6E, meaning you can enjoy a high-speed wireless connection with the 6GHz frequency, which is free of interruptions and has a higher bandwidth than 5GHz, making it possible to game on WiFi.
Overall, this a good laptop that doesn’t burn a hole in your pocket but gets the job done. You should be able to play Roblox with this laptop with maxed-out in-game settings without running into any performance issues and play other games as well and leverage DLSS 3 for enhanced performance.

If you’re not looking to invest in a gaming laptop, as those can cost a lot, but want a laptop with just enough power to run Roblox, we recommend the MSI Prestige 14 AI Evo. This laptop has an NPU along with a Core Ultra 5 125H processor, meaning you can get decent results from this but it definitely isn’t a workhorse.
We’ve also reviewed this laptop in-house, and even though it lacks a discrete GPU, its Intel Arch Integrated graphics managed 33 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 low settings with XeSS enabled and 20 FPS at ultra settings. While this is below what is generally considered the playable limit of 60 FPS, we need to consider that this is an iGPU. Cyberpunk 077 is a very demanding game that gives even desktop GPUs trouble.
On top of that, Roblox doesn’t have high graphical fidelity, meaning you should be able to have a smooth gaming experience with this laptop, and it can boost performance by enabling XeSS. Besides that, it has 16GB of DDR5 RAM running at 5,600 MHz, which should be more than enough for Roblox and any other work task that you might have.
The MSI Prestige is an interesting laptop, as the basic specs kind of limit its capabilities. As although the AI name has been slapped onto it, the Intel Core Ultra 5 125H processor NPU isn't the strongest option out there, and without a dedicated GPU and onboard graphics, it's not exactly a powerhouse machine. But the small and a bit more lightweight option has its uses.

The 1 TB SSD should also provide plenty of space as my laptop also has a 1TB SSD, and I’ve got Counter-Strike 2, Battlefield 2042, Insurgency: Sandstorm, Apex Legends, and Sims 4 installed and still have plenty of space to download Warzone.
So, space shouldn’t be an issue with this laptop. It does, however, have a 14″ display with a 1920 x 1200 resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, which keeps things simple. The refresh rate should make playing Roblox a smooth experience. So, it’s not the best display, but we need to consider its price and that it isn’t a “gaming” laptop.
Overall, this is a decent laptop that you can use in your office, university, or anywhere else without it standing out as it doesn’t have “gamer aesthetics.” Gaming isn’t the best with it but for Roblox and other low fidelity games, it should be more than fine.

If you’re looking for a well-rounded gaming laptop that can run Roblox and other demanding titles, we recommend the MSI Stealth 17 Studio. In our MSI Stealth 17 Studio review, it had excellent gaming performance, showcasing its ability to power through demanding titles. This is great because it means you won’t experience any hiccups in Roblox.
This gaming laptop also features an RTX 4080; however, it is powered by the Intel Core i9-13900H, which trades blows with the Core Ultra 9 185H. So, you shouldn’t feel a difference in performance, and it should be able to easily handle gaming at low resolutions as well as other resource-intensive applications.
It has a 17.3″ screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, which is 24Hz higher than the Stealth 18. Besides that, it has the same mini LED panel with a 3840 x 2160 resolution. It features a 2TB NVMe SSD and 32GB DDR5 RAM, which should be more than enough for Roblox and other titles. This is plenty of storage for games and different applications, and the RAM should be plenty to avoid system memory issues.
Overall the MSI Stealth 17 Studio A13V-018UK is a great compact laptop choice for those wanting a combination of gaming and productivity without being so out there about it.

This laptop also has 7 heat pipes shared between the CPU and the GPU, which lead up to two fans that keep it cool. This gives it minimal flex, meaning you can travel with it without worrying about it bending and damaging a component. On top of that, it has a 99.9 Whr battery, which should last a good while on a single charge so that you can work while on the go. However, for gaming, you’ll have to connect the 240W charger to ensure the GPU is getting the power it needs.
For its performance, we ran various benchmarking software, such as 3DMark and Blender. After 10 minutes in Cinebench 2024, the GPU had a score of 16,047. In Fire Strike Ultra, which gauges the graphics card’s ability to render 4K frames, we got 8,672 points. While these scores are good, they aren’t at the level of the desktop counterpart of the RTX 4080. These results align more with the RTX 4070, which we’ve also reviewed.
Overall, this is an excellent gaming laptop that can no doubt handle Roblox with all the settings maxed out but can also run graphically demanding titles without any issues.

The MSI Stealth 18 AI is an excellent laptop that comes with great performance features and the ability to leverage AI, making it even better for professionals across the board. It has an amazing display and a powerful GPU that is capable of making the most out of its high refresh rate and UHD resolution. So, this laptop is a great choice to run Roblox whether you want to play games or create games, and even besides that, you should be able to run demanding titles with ease.
