Troubleshooting BIOS Beep Codes - Phoenix BIOS - Newer Family

The beep codes in this section correspond to the 4.x BIOS versions typically found in Pentium or later systems from 1994 on. The beep codes are in a 4-part format.

I have listed all of the possible beep codes here, over 100 of them. The Phoenix documentation actually defines beep codes even for intermediate or successful states during the power-on test. These very unlikely to ever occur when actually booting the PC. As mentioned in the top level page on beep codes, I have grouped the troubleshooting information for many similar beep codes together here.

What beep code are you hearing?
