    Compatibilty

    Hi.
i am willing to buy a vga card, INNO 6600 512 MB DDR2. but the problem is, my mobo support DDR1 memory modules. i was asking whether this vga card will be compatible with my system. the mobo is a bit kn8 series with pci express.

    thanks.

As long as the video card is PCIe, then it will work.

azzey is correct. The RAM on the vid card has nothing to do with the RAM in your system. They are connected to completely different memory controllers and will never interact directly. As far as your mobo is concerned, the vid card can use EDO RAM and it doesn't care. The only thing it cares about is that it can communicate with the vid card over the expansion bus.
