    Which PC is better?

I have the chance to buy either of these HP Media Center PCs for 35% off of current retail prices. Could someone tell me which processor to go with? Thanks in advance for any help.

Of the two the AMD machine is by far better. It's the latest AMD socket AM2. And even the older s939 AMD dual cores always stomped on the PD's anyway.

The Intel system is using an older board that does support a Core2 at all. And the PD's are known to have heat problems.

Choice #2 without a doubt. It's worth the extra $60
