Constant Reboot After Windows XP Splash Screen Comes Up

This morning for some inexplicable reason, my PC gave me an error screen asking if I wanted to start in Safe Mode, Normal Mode, etc. Initially I tried Normal Mode , but when the Windows XP splash screen came up, my PC restarted. I then tried to start Windows in Safe Mode, but no luck. Then, I tried resetting my CMOS, but got the same results. Any ideas?

Try to Press F8 when the bios screen appears. If it works, choose "Last Known Good Configuration (your most recent settings that worked)" >Enter

I tried using the Last Known Working Settings option, but that didn't work. The loading bar at the bottom lasted little longer, though.

Have you added anything new, hardware, or software? If hardware, you might want to try shutting everything down and removing...

If you can get into SAFEMODE, you want to get to Control Panel>System>System Properties>Advanced>Startup and Recovery>Settings>System Failure> Untick Automatically Restart

If you simply cannot get in to Windows, you might need to slave the drive to another system and backup any important data.

You then would try a Repair Installation:
