Free Technical Support Resources

The PC Guide has its very own discussion forums where you can get technical support with many PC problems, and also discuss PC-related issues. In addition to these forums, and The PC Guide Live Chat Channel, the following are sites that offer free technical support, provided by volunteers, to assist with computer problems. Also, be aware that I have not personally tested these sites, so their being listed here should not be considered an endorsement; while these sites generally have good intentions and probably will help you, sometimes you only get what you pay for (which could equally be said about The PC Guide as well!):

  • RealPCHelp.com: As their slogan says, "Real People, Real PC Help. 'Nuff Said!" :^)
  • The Computer Vine: This isn't strictly a technical support resource, but more of an online community of computer enthusiasts. Worth checking out.
  • www.protonic.com: An organization of volunteers offering free technical support by email.
