whats better, 2x512 corsiar xms at 2700 or 2x512 k byte at 3200.
corsair xms= quality but slower
k byte= cheaper but faster

my current 1x512 of the corsair is oc'ed

If you like to OC, I suggest getting the higher quality Corsair. Even if you run the K byte memory at the slower 180 FSB, I doubt you'd get those kind of timings out of them.

Then again, if this is for a stock config, the K byte would be my choice because it's guaranteed to run at DDR400 speeds.

I'd go with Corsair since then you can have dual-channel mode if you want. I see you're running the ram @ 2-2-2-7, if you have an NForce 2 mobo, why don't you try set it to 2-2-2-11, I heard its better that way.
