Is it the proper driver series for a 9x machine? The machine is an AMD Athlon based one, with 256MB of RAM, Windows Me,
Is there already Bluetooth support on the machine?
Any more details about it would be welcome......
Hi all.
I have here, a Microsoft bluetooth wireless keyboard and mouse.
The instructions tell me to install the software drives using the standard keyboard and mouse, which is logical.
I am trying to install them for a friend, on his computer.
However, when I run the program, and click on the keyboard driver install option, the following message is displayed:
----------------------------------------
The SETUP.EXE file is linked to missing
export KERNEL32.DLL: Process32nextW
----------------------------------------
Any ideas what this means?
I speculate that the installer program cannot find the kernel of the OS, which seems strange, as it must be there, or the system would not be running at all...
I tried copying the whole CD into the HDD, and running from there, but this did not help(i did not think it really would, but worth a try).
The machine is an AMD Athlon based one, with 256MB of RAM, Windows Me, DVD/CD drive, CD-RW drive, 20GB HDD, FAT32 filesystem.

Hi all.
I've just found the reason behind this error.
This bluetooth desktop solution is only compatible with Windows XP. It(the software) will not run on any older version of Windows, including Me...
