Windows ME Compact Persario 5bw220 5000series. 256 RAM bought in 2000.

Have a computer here that has never had it's operating system updated since 2004. I did the MS updates but couldn't update the vml. When the computer started I would get this prompt to reinstall it. Finally I clicked on the function that said it would ask to update later.

I have since found information about this feature and followed the MS instructions to extract and install the three Vgx files.

My guestion: How do I know that this vml Vector Graphic Rendering is now functioning properly? Is there a way to test out the machine by surfing to a site to check it?
