If your motherboard was made in the last few years, it probably has an option to boot from CD. The Win98 CD is bootable.I am installing a new hard drive on a system and need to get windows 98 on it. It is ready for the OS to be installed. My trouble is that the CDROM will not work so that I can use the W98 CD to install from. I was thinking if I could get my hands on W95 floppies I could do it that way. Once installed I could upgrade to W98. Is there another way?
