help!
worsening boot problem. System gets stuck in a loop. After the mem check, before the drives are detected the system goes back to the very beginning of the boot sequence. POST gives a single beep. BIOS is accessible. Sometimes loop thing will happen 5 or 6 times before a successful boot happens.
Sys=AMD k6/2 333mhz/64mb RAM/fujitsu 3.1gig drive/ATI rage pro card.
Sys is about 14 months old.
This problem has been occurring for a few months but has been getting worse over the last 10 weeks or so.
Periodic total system locks also happening when in win98, this also has not happened before.
