Our take on the Philips 346E2CUAE

We think the Philips 346E2CUAE is a great monitor for those needing good detail from their monitor. The 1440p resolution allows for a super clear picture that’s great if you’re planning on using it for working or design. The 121.3% sRGB and 99.5% NTSC color gamuts mean that your picture will look vibrant with colors that pop, great for editing in Photoshop.

If you’re getting this monitor for more media consumption or gaming its a solid option with that immersive 1000R display wrapping around your head, drawing you into the action. The curved monitor is also a great benefit if you’re planning on long gaming sessions by placing less stress on your eyes. The 100Hz refresh rate is not the highest but is better than a standard monitor and will be able to keep up with action especially when coupled with the adaptive sync feature that locks your monitor’s frame rate to that of the GPU.

We think this is a really solid performer for multiple uses, especially at this improved price, but how does this discount compare to others? Let’s take a look!

Is this a good Philips curved monitor deal?

As we find a lot of deals we often find products being discounted at different rates at different times of the year, this sometimes makes it hard to know if you’re getting the best deal. We’ve used the price-tracking website Camelcamelcamel.com to take a look at what prices the Philips 346E2CUAE has been on sale for on Amazon.

As you can see from the graph the Philips 346E2CUAE is currently on sale at a good price, sitting at the second lowest it has ever been at $319.99. While not as low as the Black Friday price of $299.99 it’s still significantly less than its initial price. Right now this Philips 346E2CUAE is discounted 20% and we’d expect it to return to this price after the sale or just less than it as it’s still an excellent monitor, even if it is now a few years old. Overall, this is a great deal if you’re looking for a great-looking, well-priced monitor from a trusted manufacturer.
