What we think about this Amazon Luna wireless controller
The Official Luna Wireless Controller is a neat little gadget for anyone looking to get the most out of Amazon’s cloud gaming service. It used a direct Wi-Fi connection to Amazon’s servers using that Cloud Direct tech. This basically cuts out the middleman and lets the controller talk directly to the cloud games, minimizing lag and delay. The ability to easily switch between devices is also super convenient. If you need to hop off the TV, you can seamlessly transition to your tablet or phone and pick up right where you left off.
The overall design feels good in your hands too. The offset thumbsticks, curved grips, and nicely placed buttons make it comfortable for extended gaming sessions. And having the option for wired USB or Bluetooth is just icing on the cake for flexibility. The tailored cloud gaming features and multi-device support are really what you’re paying for here. If you can look past the lack of haptic feedback or triggers, it’s a solid controller for cloud gaming on a budget.
Amazon Luna controller deal – is the price right?
As you can see from the graph the Luna controller is not exactly unfamiliar with a discount routinely dropping down to the $49.99 price-mark in in the past three years. However, the only time it has dipped lower has been end-of-year sales in 2022 and 2023, and this year’s are still some way off, making it still a good time to buy the Luna.
