We’re all still figuring out just how much harm is going to be caused by the awful global pandemic we’re all facing, but if there’s going to be any silver lining to this disaster, it’s seeing all the efforts different individuals, groups and organisations are embarking on to help look after each other.
Enter the Humble Conquer COVID-19 Bundle, a massive selection of games available for the reasonable price of $30. It includes 44 different games, and there’s bound to be something for everyone in this lineup. There’s the brilliant time-bending roguelike strategy game Into The Breach, atmospheric and oppressive Metroidvania Hollow Knight, and the offbeat indie RPG darling Undertale. If you’re stuck bored at home and looking for some entertaining ways to pass the time, this is a great way to get tonnes of games for not much money. This bundle is running until the 7th of April.
There’s also a host of comics and books included, there’s volume 1 of Garth Ennis’ nihilistic subversive Superhero series The Boys, volume 1 of mysterious fantasy series Locke & Key, and volume 1 of Spawn Origins, collecting together the early issues of the demonic superhero comic.
100% of the proceeds from this bundle will be going towards helping efforts towards helping people out, such as Direct Relief, International Rescue Committee, Doctors Without Borders & Partners In Health. These organisations will be helping not just those impacted directly by the COVID-19 outbreak, but also those affected by the wider humanitarian crisis it is leaving in its wake. Neither Humble nor any of the developers or publishers involved will be pocketing any of the money here, so it’s nothing but warm fuzzy feelings from contributing to good causes, and getting some fun games to play.
