Lian Li update the flashiest desk cases known to man

We have all done it at some point – a moment where we have had a ridiculous thought pass through the old neurons of the brain. You see something ridiculously opulent and wonder, just for a second, if you could get away with buying it without your significant other finding out how much it cost. And then it’s gone, never to be considered again.

Until you see the newly updated range of desk-cases from Lian-Li that is. You are going to want one of these so sorry for putting the thought in your head in the first place.

The DK-05F and DK-04F desk cases are updates of models that were about in 2017, but the hardware (and doubtless the price) has now been brought up to 2020 standards.

Now with full RGB lighting (obviously) and USB-C connections, this desk/case is set to last you into the future. A future where you will still be paying for it, no doubt.

Lian-Li products are expensive luxury items in the PC world, and there are no prices available at this stage, but if you look at the video below, it’s safe to assume that this is a premium product with a premium price tag, but man it looks gorgeous.

The 8mm tempered glass desktop can be switched from fully transparent to completely opaque and hiding your components at the press of a button – handy for hiding all your distracting bling when you need to get that report finished!

Four customizable desk heights are all instantly accessible at the touch of a motorized button for that extra Batcave effect.

The two different models are purely down to size, with one able to host a duel PC system and the other the more traditional one system setup.

Both were on show at CES, and with this official announcement, we would expect them to be on sale shortly – although with the current hardware situation, you could expect that to be a little later than Lian-Li planned initially. Until they are, however, enjoy staring at them longingly, knowing deep down that you shouldn’t be thinking about buying one!
