Solidworks System Requirements

Solidworks is a popular solid modelling computer-aided design (CAD) and computer aided-engineering (CAE) software that’s home to over 500k certified users and even more standard users. It’s a powerful bit of kit that makes designing various products easier than ever thanks to it’s 2D base with added geometry options as the CAD process progresses.

Whilst Solidworks works great on Windows systems, it’s not optimised for Mac users, although it’s still possible to run the software on an Apple device.
