iOS Spotify Battery Story So Far
Complaints regarding the iOS Spotify battery issue started weeks ago, also heavily affecting iOS 14.8. The issue is also affecting older versions of iOS, but only sporadically when looking over the comments. Long story short, Spotify is a low usage app when it comes to power consumption and should be consuming said power at the rate it currently is. The best we can do right now is wait for an update from Spotify.
If you’re affected by this, it may be worth checking our iOS hub for help with iOS bugs and workarounds. Although this is a Spotify app issue, iOS 15 is proving to be quite buggy, so it’s best to stay on top of updates overall.
