Ee’ve already had a good look at the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra thanks to leaked renders. However, we’ve finally got our best glimpse at the phone yet. New promo videos have leaked for the phone, showing off a sleek design featuring rounded edges and a large display.
The videos, posted by Evan Bliss on Twitter, show off several short promotional videos for the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra smartphone. The phone has a rounded edge design, with a large 6.7-inch display screen. This display will feature a curved screen, with Gorilla Glass protection. This reinforced glass will make it much harder to shatter or crack the screen. The screen will have a 165 Hz refresh rate, as well as an FHD+ resolution.
The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is looking good in leaked video teasers
On the back of the phone, there is a trio of cameras housed in a notch on the top left corner. We know the Edge 50 Ultra has a 50 MP main camera and a 72mm periscope module. The third camera is still yet to be revealed, but its speculated that it’s an ultrawide lense. While the teasers mainly show off the large display screen, the first one leaked gives us a good look at all three cameras contained in the smartphone.
One of the videos, in particular, features the phone being pulled out of the water. This is likely to indicate that the phone has an IP68 rating. This would mean the phone is water resistant for up to 30 minutes while submerged in fresh water.
The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has not been officially revealed yet, however its expected to be launched on April 3 in India. While this is the only date we know of for the smartphone, it’s expected that it will launch at the same time, or close to this date, around the world. The phone’s sleek design is only confirmed by these promotional videos, and we’re looking forward to seeing it in person.
