RX 7700 XT release time prediction?
AMD confirmed during Gamescom 2023 in August that the AMD Radeon RX 7700 has a release date of September 6th, alongside the RX 7800 XT. While we expected it to be listed and available for purchase at 6 AM PT (9 AM ET or 2 PM in the UK), cards started to appear at 1am PT. The newest of AMD’s new-gen cards are in the wild already!

RX 7700 XT price
As per the announcement made by AMD during the Gamescom 2023, the expected MSRP for RX 7700 XT is $449. This is compared to the RX 7800 XT, which will have a $499 MSRP. Even better though, AMD will be offering a free copy of Starfield with the new cards to sweeten the purchase.
With this price, this upcoming GPU competes with Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 4060 and 4060 Ti. While there won’t be any discounts available for the RX 7700 XT at launch (it would be incredibly unusual), retailers may roll out offer prices in the future. In the meantime, we’d hope that the board partners’ cards, like Asus and Gigabyte, stick as close to the MSRP as possible. It’s a compelling price, so hopefully that advantage can be maintained.
