The Radeon RX 7800 XT is poised to be launched in the first half of 2023, and everybody is expecting to see how the Navi 32-based unit will behave. Although there is not too much official information about this GPU from AMD, there is already some info detailing the specs of the GPU.

This card is built on the 5nm process and uses the Navi 32 graphics processor, specifically the Navi 32 XT variant. With DirectX 12 Ultimate support, the Radeon RX 7800 XT can run all modern games and offers hardware-raytracing and variable-rate shading capabilities for upcoming titles.

The Navi 32 graphics processor is a substantial chip with a die area of 346 mm² and features 3840 shading units, 240 texture mapping units, and 128 ROPs. It also boasts 60 raytracing acceleration cores. The Radeon RX 7800 XT comes with 12GB of GDDR6 memory connected via a 192-bit memory interface. Its GPU frequency is 1800 MHz, with a boost potential of up to 2800 MHz, while memory runs at 2250 MHz (18 Gbps effective).

This dual-slot card requires 2x 8-pin power connectors and can draw up to 300W.
