The following two methods will show you how to regain your bearings and return to the starting point of your Vision Pro experience. Without any further ado, let’s dive in!

There are two ways in which you can return to the home screen on your Vision Pro. The first method is a more common approach that involves the use of the Digital crown. Follow the steps below to get back to your home screen in no time.

Pressing Digital Crown – traditional approach

The Digital Crown, a signature element of Apple devices, plays a crucial role in navigating the Vision Pro. It’s the small, rotating dial located on the side of the device.

This method is the most straightforward and universally applicable way to return to your starting point.

Find the Digital Crown – a small rotating button on the top right of the headset.

Simply press the Digital Crown once, and you’ll be instantly transported back to the home screen, also known as Home View on the Vision Pro.

.Now for the second, less common approach.

Utilizing the Control Center – an alternative route

The Vision Pro’s Control Center provides a centralized hub for various settings and quick actions.

Using this method offers a convenient alternative to using the Digital Crown, especially when you’re already accessing the Control Center for other adjustments.

You can access the Control Center by swiping down from the top right corner of your display.

Within the Control Center, locate the Home icon, which resembles a house silhouette.

Tapping this icon will swiftly bring you back to the Home View.

How do I close an app on Vision Pro?

The Vision Pro’s vast capabilities extend to downloading and using apps. You can access the app store on your device which allows you to discover new VisionOS apps or compatible iPhone or iPad apps, that you can transport data from through the Apple ecosystem. Once you’ve gotten to grips with your device and accessed your apps, it’s helpful to know how to close an app and be able to pick up where you left off later.

Say you’re currently using the YouTube app but you’d like to research something on Safari and then browse on Twitter, this method will help you. To do this, you can tap (pinch fingers) the ‘X” below the app or look at an app and say “Siri, close this” – both of these methods should allow you to close the current app you’re on and open another.

How do I charge my Vision Pro?

The Apple Vision Pro comes equipped with an external battery pack, and USB-C charging cable. To charge your Vision Pro all you have to do is connect the USB-C cable to an Apple USB-C power adapter and then plug the cable into the external battery pack which connects to the strap on the side of the headset. Charging your headset for 1.5 hours will provide you with 2.5 hours of wireless usage time.
