GPT’s are the new user-generated custom versions of ChatGPT, announced at OpenAI DevDay on November 6th. Building your own custom GPT means giving an AI chatbot your own custom instructions with which OpenAI’s GPT-4 model will react to input prompts. You can make your own GPT now, with the GPT Builder, or copy ones that others have shared for free. In addition, later this month you’ll be able to buy and sell these custom bots! What is the ChatGPT GPT Store?
OpenAI has debuted the GPT Store, where users can buy and sell customized chatbots. The announcements came from OpenAI DevDay in San Francisco on November 6th, 2023. OpenAI’s GPT Store is a ChatGPT App Store, where GPT’s (short for Generative Pre-Trained Transformers) can be bought and sold for real money. As a result, a microeconomy is expected to flourish from this, with prompt engineers potentially making a full-time income from the store. With the OpenAI Store now open for business, you might be curious how to build your own custom AI Chatbot, in other words, your own custom GPT!

This custom GPT from Cintas imbues DALL-E 3 with the parameters of Midjourney. Despite merely being a wrapper on OpenAI’s GPT-4 model, this could potentially result in the worlds best AI image generator. A bold claim, but DALL-E 3 does beat Midjourney in terms of quality on some results, especially text-in-image generation. On the other hand, Midjourney has far better controls, with a parameter list that allows you to fine tune every about the image (except resolution), including aspect ratio.
